‘Gatsby’
A Vintage Cocktail Cabinet that will make eyes turn.
Through tape design, I meticulously created a bold, art deco design on this beautiful vintage piece. I purposedly left the right balance of the original stunning woodgrain against the bold Midnight Blue and Gold accents.
The first step to any of my furniture projects is to start with a series of hand drawn designs to find the ‘best’ design for the piece itself. I consider the era, the colour palette and the design itself. Nothing just happens, I make it happen through a series of drawings, attention to scale, colour and pattern. Every piece is unique.
