The Process

Supply your own Piece Or Let me source it

Supply your own piece

If you have a piece you want funked up please let me know. I can give you ideas before we proceed – this way, you’ll be able to decide if this is the solution. For example I might suggest highlighting best features, adding some geometric detailing, adding wood mouldings to give the piece age/character/identity, adding wallpaper, changing handles or legs.

Some vintage pieces are more than just a piece of furniture. They are pieces of a memory of someone we loved and lost, or were passed down through families. They are very special to us but unfortunately brown heavily varnished furniture can look dated in a modern family home.

The solution could be to revamp them! These pieces were usually made to last and were made of solid wood… so if they can look good and they still function well, why not keep them? Instead of throwing them away to replace them with cheaper, less quality ‘fast furniture’ that might look good today, but unlikely to stand the test of time, let me show you the potential your piece of furniture has!

Let me find you a fabulous piece!

If you are looking for a statement piece, for example a drinks cabinet, dressing table or sideboard why look alone.

I have experience finding quality vintage and mid century pieces. I know the right questions to ask when I am sourcing these from dealers and private sellers. I have had my fair share of learning curves when it comes to this!

I only purchase solid pieces in good condition. I have worked with a wide range of quality branded pieces including G Plan / E Gomme, Nathan Furniture, Beautility, Rivington, Hubbinet, Harris Lebus and more. I know the pieces really well which can be an overlooked benefit when you are sourcing and working on these older pieces.

I work closely with reputable couriers that also know how to work with vintage furniture.

If you like the shape of something, or need something for functional purposes, e.g. a sideboard with drawers or a drinks cabinet with a large space for taller bottles – just let me know!

Thank you
